Plastic Recycle Project
Mostly, drinkable water in Labuan Bajo and its surrounding islands is packed in plastic bottles and glasses whilst ice is supplied from small fridges that produce ice in single-use plastic packs. So plastic waste become a big problem in this area. Here we are, Komodo Water tries to reduce single-use plastic and recycle current plastic waste in the area.
Revive the Wasted
We reimagined plastic waste by giving them a second life. By combining bits and pieces, we try to revive plastic waste to become products with different patterns of colors that make our products authentic, unique, and limited. The process starts from plastic collection points and local waste pickers from beaches, cafes, and public spaces around Labuan Bajo, Komodo National Park, and Komodo Biosphere Reserve.
